Welcome to the Bridged Health Alliance page dedicated to providing the medical community with information about our health and wellness plans. The medical provider community in Montana is an important partner to delivering exceptional, cost-effective health care to public school employees and their loved ones. 
 

Benefits on this page are specific to Tier 1 (Prairie), which includes all Bridged Health Alliance districts except for Billings Public Schools, Columbia Falls Public Schools, East Helena Public Schools, Helena School District and Kalispell Public Schools, which belong to Tier 2 (Skyline).

Bridged Essential Access Plan

Dental & Vision Plans

Bridged Health Alliance offers districts flexibility in how they provide dental and vision benefits. Because participating districts may select from different network options — or may choose not to offer dental and/or vision coverage — the benefits available to an individual member will vary by district.

Dental Coverage

Districts offering dental coverage may select one of two network options:

Bridged Open Access Dental through Allegiance: Members use the Allegiance Open Access network. Dental coverage is identified on the member’s Allegiance ID card along with their medical coverage.

Delta Dental: Members enrolled in a Delta Dental plan use the Delta Dental network and will receive dental identification information directly from Delta Dental. 

Vision Coverage

Districts offering vision coverage may select either:

Bridged Open Access Vision through Allegiance: Members use the Allegiance Open Access network, and vision coverage is identified on the member’s Allegiance ID card. 

VSP Vision: Members use the VSP network. VSP does not issue ID cards. Providers can verify eligibility and benefits directly through VSP using the member’s information.

For Providers

When assisting a Bridged Health Alliance member, please confirm which dental or vision option the member’s district has elected before providing services. The presence of dental or vision information on the Allegiance ID card indicates coverage through the Bridged Open Access option. Members with VSP vision coverage will not have a VSP ID card.
